“Vernatun”: The Culture of Islam and Our Stereotypical Perceptions
CCCS researcher and head of the Chair of Arabic Studies at Yerevan State University, Hayk Kocharyan appeared on Armenian Public Radio’s “Vernatun.” He discussed David Hovhannisyan’s dictionary guide titled Islam and explored the stereotypical perceptions of Islam and Islamic culture among Armenians, as well as the Muslim worldview and their approach to knowledge.
