CCCS researcher Hayk Kocharyan gave an interview to CivilNet, where he discussed the violence in Syria’s Alawite-populated regions, highlighting the peculiarities of the emerging new Middle Eastern security architecture. Kocharyan also emphasized that the interests of Iran and Israel may coincide in the Syrian theater.
