CCCS researcher Narek Sukiasyan, in an interview with MediaLab, discussed Armenia’s consideration of requesting the dissolution of the OSCE Minsk Group, viewing it as a crisis management step to mitigate Azerbaijani President Aliyev’s war ultimatum. He highlighted that the Minsk Group has become dysfunctional, especially since the onset of the Ukraine conflict, and that Armenia’s potential move reflects an attempt to reduce escalation risks amid increasing hostile rhetoric from Azerbaijan.
