On May 8, by the initiative of the Embassy of the R. of Armenia in the I.R. of Iran a discussion roundtable was held in the Faculty of World Studies of Tehran University, the topic was “Geopolitics of South Caucasus”. Prof. Davit Hovhannisyan, president of the Center for Culture and Civilization Studies at YSU, and Prof. Ruben Karapetyan, lecturer at the Armenian-Russian University delivered speeches. The session started by the welcome speech of Dr. Mehdi Sanaei, CEO of IRAS studies center and former ambassador, who gave his speech on the topic as well.

The Panel was the following:

3- South Caucasus – Middle East Nexus, view from Yerevan, by Davit Hovhannisyan

The last part of the panel was a Q&A and discussion.
