Armenian Politics, Society, and Culture
On April 19, Anna Gevorgyan’s inspiring lecture, exploring “Competing Aspirations in the South Caucasus,” marked the start of the second phase of the intensive course in “Armenian Politics, Society, and Culture” at the Faculty of Political Science, University of Bucharest.
Within the framework of the collaboration between CCCS and the Faculty of Political Science of the University of Bucharest, CCCS researcher Anna Gevorgyan has already conducted lectures at the FSPUB, delving into the political history of modern Armenia, the fundamental principles of Armenia’s foreign policy, and the complexities of Armenia-Georgia relations. On April 22, FSPUB students will also gain insights into the Peculatities of Iran’s Foreign Policy.
Implemented with the support of the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation, this project is dedicated to enhancing the Armenian-Romanian dialogue through academic exchange. The collaborative effort involves two courses scheduled for the 2023-2024 academic year at the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Bucharest. As part of this joint academic initiative, CCCS researchers Anna Gevorgyan and Narek Sukiasyan, along with Eric Davtyan, a lecturer at Yerevan State University’s Department of International Relations and Diplomacy, and Oana Valentina Suciu, a lecturer at Bucharest University’s Faculty of Political Sciences, will serve as lecturers.
