If Geography is a Nightmare, Armenia Faces a Choice between War and Surrender

The Swiss journal Neue Zürcher Zeitung published Andreas Rüesch’s article titled “If Geography is a Nightmare, Armenia Faces a Choice between War and Surrender”. In the article, the author discusses Armenia’s aspiration to free itself from its isolation, which, however, is only possible if Armenia achieves a normalization of its relations with Azerbaijan and Turkey – if necessary, through painful concessions.

The article also features CCCS researcher Narek Sukiasyan’s commentaries on Russia’s role in the region and other pertinent matters.
