Bagrat Asatryan is an Associate Professor at the YSU, Chair of Finance and Accounting of the Faculty of Economics, and at the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University. He earned his PhD in economics in 1985. In 1994-1998 Bagrat Asatryan was the Governor of the Central Bank of Armenia and a member of the Supreme Council. During 1990-1997 he was a member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.
