On November 23 at the National Academy of Science of the Republic of Armenia international conference “Armenian-Syrian relations: historical encounters, current developments and perspectives” took place. The conference was organized on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Syrian Arab Republic. At the event among other speakers, David Hovhannisyan gave a speech and Shoushan Kyureghyan presented the results of research entitled “The participation of mercenaries in the 44-day war 2020 (based on international press reports)”.
