Armenia and Georgia 2025. Armenia-Georgia Neighbourhood: Platform for Experts Dialogue
On October 20, Center for Culture and Civilization Studies Foundation, in partnership with the Armenian Committee of Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly CSO, hosted a public discussion titled Armenia and Georgia 2025. Armenia-Georgia Neighbourhood: Platform for Experts Dialogue.
The overall goal of the event was to present and discuss the main findings and consolidated approaches of Armenian and Georgian experts on a number of issues of importance for both countries and the South Caucasus region as a whole, such as:
Ø The Impact of New Geopolitical Realities on Relations between Armenia and Georgia – Is a Synergy Effect Possible?
Ø The Dynamics of Internal Political and Social Processes in Armenia and Georgia in the Context of Insufficient Public Influence and Control – is a Breakthrough Possible?
During the discussion, the following policy briefs were presented:
- Hayk Toroyan (Armenia) and David Bragvadze (Georgia) — “South Caucasus on the Edge of Choices”
- Nini Kobakhidze (Georgia) and Gor Madoyan (Armenia) — “Armenia and Georgia at the Crossroads: Futures of Democracy and Disillusionment”
The presentations were followed by a Q&A session.

Armenian and Georgian Civil Societies: from Observers to Actors project aims at long-term bilateral professional collaboration /dialogue between Armenian and Georgian experts and using this collaboration to jointly develop progressive ideas through in-depth analyses of the current situation and processes in the respective two countries, as well as in other areas of common interest.
